First and foremost, I completely forgot to do a pre-light inhale on this Ave Maria Divinia. Sue me. Looked too damn good to wait and I got caught up in the badass Ave Maria logo.
This cigar is absolutely incredible though! The draw is extra easy, makes me feel like I don’t even have to inhale this thing. It’s like auto-smoke.
Had a small deficiency on the cap, but you know what? No one cares! Gonna burn this to the nub regardless lol. Unless you do care, in which case here’s a photo:
Burning this Ave Maria Divinia at 10:45 in the morning with some coffee and the occasional sip of water to stay hydrated after this mornings smoke session.
This stogie holds it’s ash pretty well, I guess to be expected from a box press. White ash – the good shit.
Kind of reminds me of a milder, softer, gentler yet ridiculously smooth and flavorful cigar. Kind of like a cuban, or so my friends that don’t respect the embargo tell me. 😉
Just blew this thing through the nose: heavenly. Definitely a mild smoke with lots of character. I’m smoking this one in the morning, but I could see this cigar paired with some Laphroaig later or might even try it with a nice aged rum.
Here’s that ash after about 12.5 mins (how’s that for precision!?):
Now I gotta order a box! Might or might not write some more afterward, but so far I need more of this cigar in my life! About to take the wrapper off so I can keep smoking it like it’s oxygen under water.
You know what? Here’s that ash again about 25 mins in. BOOM! Ave Maria Divinia for the win.
Perhaps the coolest thing about this cigar is that my hands don’t smell like an ashtray afterward. I smell like quality tobacco, so much so that I’m tempted to go kiss the Domestic Engineer and see what she thinks…
What did you think about the Ave Maria Divinia?
