From Dave:  For the month of May, members of the CigarNoise app participated in a blind trade.  The sender removed the band and packaged it in an envelope to give the receiver an experience sans bands and prejudice.  Chris approached me a few days ago about doing a Blind Review series on the cigars he received.  I think it’s brilliant, and I hope you enjoy reading these as much as I do.

Dave’s Review of the All My Exes Maduro Robusto

Ezra Zion All My Exes Maduro – Prelight

This cigar features a dark oily maduro wrapper in a lancero vitola. Already two cigars come to mind, the Epic lancero and the Ezra Zion All My Exes Madruo Lancero. The smell coming from the cigar is of coffee and chocolate. Construction feels great.

Ezra Zion All My Exes Maduro – First Third

The cigar starts off with a blast of coffee and a chocolate undertone. After a few minutes, the coffee settles down and the two flavors are very enjoyable. The sweetness of the chocolate and the coffee balance nicely together. The draw was a little tight to my liking but the burn was flawless.

The smoke was thick but was not overly heavy.  After 10 minutes with this cigar there was no question I was smoking the All My Exes.

My Guess: Ezra Zion All My Exes Maduro Lancero

Ezra Zion All My Exes Maduro – Second Third

The flavors continued into this third with the addition of a fruity flavor. The chocolate was really prominent on my tongue and lingered the entire time. The smoke remained moderately thick. The draw loosened up a little and the burn continued strong.

My Guess: Ezra Zion All My Exes Maduro Lancero

Ezra Zion All My Exes Maduro – Final Third

The fruity flavor has subsided but the coffee and chocolate stay rich. The smoke is still moderate and thick. No change in the draw and burn.

Summary
There was no doubt in my mind this was the All My Exes. This is a very full bodied, full strength cigar. The flavors are complex and enjoyable. This is a very good cigar from EZ but with the limited availability makes them hard to find.
