The Crowned Heads Le Careme was a new release at the 2016 IPCPR. The information released at the event divulged that this cigar pays tribute to Marie Antoine Careme, a culinary pioneer in France during the 1800’s.

Crowned Heads The Angel’s Anvil 2016

At approximately half an inch in, the Angel’s Anvil 2016 opens up and begins firing on all cylinders. Sweet notes of honey, chocolate, and floral components are tempered with an earthy base and a peppery finish that lingers between puffs. Our previously effervescent quality is replaced by a creamy, rich smoke.

Tatuaje Skinny Monsters: Jason

Most of the Skinny Monsters have started with pepper blasts but the Jason was much milder at the beginning. There was black pepper, but it wasn’t the big blast I was expecting. Cocoa started weak and built through the first third along with a little bit of hay. Chocolate and cocoa came to dominate this third.

Tatuaje Skinny Monsters: Frank

You won’t need to have a clear palate before smoking this cigar. It will cleanse your palate for you with huge amounts of strong pepper and spice starting off. There was a slight coffee taste in the background, but it started by smacking me with spice & pepper.

Henry Clay Stalk Cut Robusto Review

The wrapper on this cigar truly is beautiful. It’s dark, rich, toothy, and glistening with oils. Phenomenal presentation, even if the bands look like they were made in Microsoft Paint. I’m digging the slightly square-ish box press as well.

Crowned Heads’ Tennessee Waltz Review

I’m doing things a little bit differently today. Aside from being in a completely new Cigar Lounge (Silo Cigars in Knoxville, TN) I’m also doing this review on the fly. In fact, my first 1/2 of an inch on this Tennessee Waltz is already ash.
